We are seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to join our team as a Social Media and Marketing Intern. This internship provides an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the music industry from a small team while developing your skills in social media management and marketing. If you're passionate about music, content marketing, and savvy with social platforms, we'd love to hear from you.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

Content Calendaring: Assist in content creation and rollout. This involves crafting and lining up compelling content, overseeing comments and direct messages, and evaluating engagement data.

Trend Analysis: Keep a finger on the pulse of the latest movements, drops, and best practices in electronic music and social media. Offer insights to refine our social media tactics and captivate a broader EDM audience.

Social Video Editing: Editing short form Tik Tok and IG content for various artists and campaigns.

Analytics and Reporting: Gauge the pulse of our social media activities using advanced analytic tools. Generate periodic summaries capturing key metrics, emerging trends, and engagement rates to pinpoint enhancement areas.

Research and Outreach: Delve into the world of EDM influencers, blogs, and music platforms to spotlight potential collaborations. Aid in establishing connections with EDM influencers, bloggers, and media channels for heightened promotional reach.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Enthusiasm for music and a comprehensive grasp of the electronic music industry's nuances. Familiarity with DJ’s/ producers and their contributions is a plus.
  • Understanding of key social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and TikTok.
  • An inventive mind capable of conjuring up captivating content concepts..
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-driven with the capability to navigate tight schedules.
  • Experience with cap cut video editing software is a plus.

DURATION AND COMPENSATION

The role is hybrid-remote, approximately 12 hours per week, and begins as soon as December 2023 or January 2024 for an initial 1-month period, which will then be reviewed and extended to 3-4 months. Must be used for college credit.
