Qjam, a dynamic player in the music industry, is excited to offer an opportunity for a Social Media and Marketing Intern to join our innovative team. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about music, eager to dive into the world of social media, and looking to make a significant impact in a fast-paced Direct to Consumer (direct-to-fan) environment.

Your Role:

As our Social Media and Marketing Intern, you will play a crucial role in shaping our digital presence. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Regularly posting engaging content on various social platforms, including Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and TikTok.
  • Actively participating in online communities to boost brand visibility and inbound events.
  • Managing our social media calendar and ensuring timely postings.
  • Conducting research to support internal projects and marketing strategies.
  • Assisting in the development and execution of marketing campaigns.
  • Analyzing and reporting on music release statistics.
  • Creating compelling content to engage both music fans and B2B music companies.
  • Editing and producing social media reels, stories, and shorts.
  • Staying ahead of social media trends and contributing insights for strategy refinement.
  • Editing videos for TikTok and Instagram, focusing on artist promotions and campaigns.
  • Utilizing analytics tools to track social media performance and generate reports.
  • Exploring collaboration opportunities with music influencers, blogs, and platforms.

Who You Are:

  • A music enthusiast with a keen understanding of the direct-to-consumer (D2C) music industry.
  • Proficient in social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and TikTok.
  • Creative, with a flair for developing engaging content.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage time effectively.
  • Prior experience with CapCut video editing software is a plus.

Duration and Compensation:

This internship begins in December 2023 or January 2024, initially for a 1-month period with a review for extension up to 3-4 months.
